A walk from Much Hadham took in rolling countryside including the Perry Green estate of Henry Moore 1898-1986

Hoglands in Perry Green was the home of Henry Moore from 1940 to his death in 1986.  Formerly two cottages, it is pictured here before the scaffolding went up for substantial renovation, between the try-out and actual walk.

One of a number of Henry Moore Sculptures standing in the fields of the Hoglands Estate.
Large Recling Figure 1984.  1 of an edition of 2.  The other is outside the Overseas Chinese Bank Headquarters in Singapore.

Another Henry Moore piece in another field a quarter of a mile further on.
Well makes a change from sheep!
Large Upright Internal/External Form 1981-82

Mother and foal, photographed on try-out.  Unfortunately they had moved on, by the actual day of the walk, but the cottage was still there in the hamlet of Nether Street.
